This is a desk clock created with a piston from the inside of a Chevrolet engine! This small block Chevy piston makes a fantastic conversation piece on a car lover's desk.

The piston is an integral part deep inside the engine, so any car fan would be thrilled to have a piston re-purposed as clock - particularly this clock for Chevrolet lovers.

Your Chevrolet piston clock is available in three finishes:

  1. Elegant finish - The piston is meticulously cleaned and polished. All evidence of it being inside of an engine is blasted off, exposing the beautiful raw metal. A thick clear enamel then protects the finish.
  2. Patina finish - The piston is left with its marks and stains from its hard life inside the engine. The patina finish retains the piston's original character. A thick clear enamel not only preserves the patina, but also gives the clock a clean and smooth feel.
  3. Color - This piston can be finished in any color you like. When purchasing a colored clock, please be sure to let us know your desired color and shade.

You also have the choice of the color of the ring around the clock face. Popular choices include silver, black and gold, but any color can be made by request. 

The final decision when ordering your piston clock is the choice of clock face. The clocks are available with Roman or Arabic numerals according to your preference.

Time adjustment and battery replacement are easily carried out from the back of the clock without dis-assembly of the piston.

Please note the option to add a custom plaque to your clock, the plaque can say whatever you would like or have a logo on it. Note the second to last picture in the listing is not of a Chevy piston - but represents the plaque option. If you would like to add a plaque, please also purchase the separate plaque addition listing, and be sure to tell us your desired message.

Exactly as described. Love it, great for desk art and makes a great conversation piece for people at work who pass by and are also gearheads. Even better when I ran the numbers and found it came from a 350 from 1970!
